Blog 4

Week 4 blog Privacy is an important thing to everyone. Everyone deserves to be in control of their privacy at all times. Google is mirroring Apple's 'opt out of ad tracking' privacy setting. This allows for android users, either on their android phones or tablets, to have the ability to opt out of ad tracking. This move will cut off android app developers' access to the "Advertising IDs", where they have the ability to track user's movements between apps in order to provide targeted ads. In place of where developers usually see identifiers, they will begin to see zeros for those that opted out of ad tracking. In late 2021, users will be in charge of their ad tracking privacy by having the opportunity to opt-out.  https://thehackernews.com/2021/06/google-to-let-android-users-opt-out-to.html
